1995 VS HSV Clubsport – HSV238

This 1995 VS HSV Clubsport, build number HSV238, was purchased from a farmer near Hamilton as a surprise Christmas present for Vicky.

The car was running well when we bought it, but it was in need of plenty of TLC to bring it back to a much better standard.

Vicky took care of cleaning and tidying the interior, while a set of original HSV tri-spoke wheels was sourced from Whakatane to help return the car to the correct look.

The bodywork was then worked through, with the necessary panel repairs and tidying completed before the car received a brand-new paint job.

What started as a tired but running Clubsport was transformed into a much cleaner and sharper example, while retaining the HSV features that make HSV238 special.
